  1. My Homemade cappuccino-with milk& froth-WITHOUT a machine! - - Grind the instant coffee and sugar in a food processor to make smooth. Pulse about 30 seconds or so. Then mix and stir all rest of dry ingredients together. Then add to a mason jar or airtight container.
  2. Boil hot water in kettle, or pot. Scoop 2-3 tablespoon of your homemade mix into a coffee mug.
  3. Pour the hot water in it. A little over half a cup. Stir it while hot.
  4. Then take a container or jar with lid, pour your milk in it, and shake upside down for about a min. Then with a spoon holding the froth back, pour the milk in your mug, and then you will have the froth left to pour on top:) then sprinkle with cinnamon. Also, you can warm the milk in microwave safe container with for about a min or 2. And shake it with lid on after for a min upside down. I like my milk cold, because it helps to make my drink warm enough to drink instead of hot from the boiling water. But that's your choice. Also, it's best to use whole milk, it makes better froth. But you can use half n half. Or whatever. - Just make sure you stir the mix and boiling water first. Before you add any flavor syrups or milk.
  5. Optional to put into the whole mix jar: 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp nutmeg- I don't put this in my mix. I just sprinkle a little cinnamon on top of my froth. But you can add it, if you like. - Also, sometimes I add vanilla or caramel torani coffee flavor syrup to my mug after I've stirred the mix and hot water, and before I add my milk and froth. Just to make it pop:)

Ideally to make a Cappuccino you should have a nice coffee machine with a milk steamer, but they can be pretty expensive. Even then, using the steamer is an art form that few successfully perfect. Make sure you use a large enough jar that leaves room for creating the foam. Fill your coffee mugs a little less than halfway with the freshly brewed coffee. Slowly pour the heated, frothed milk into the coffee.
